The Storm Before The Storm

This project really doesn't know what "calm" is.  I've been busy lately talking with bands, and working on getting location permits and insurance certificates.  Among the bands that we have interested in contributing music to the movie are the Jon Frederik Band and Lansdowne - two excellent local bands.  Hopefully, their music will make a strong addition to the film.

We've been gathering extras for our first weekend of spring shooting, which is now in just a week and a half away.  There's still plenty of time to be an extra - e-mail tom@yellowlightsmovie.com if you're 17-25, in the Boston area, and willing to work for free on one or two weekend afternoons for a few hours.  It's a great opportunity to be involved in the making of a feature film.

It looks increasingly like both Kevin and I will be moving to Los Angeles at some point in the relatively near future.  I'll probably get an engineering job or internship out here in Boston for a while, and then try my luck in LA.  Kevin will probably be diving straight into the Hollywood job market.

Today marks just 4 months from the scheduled release date.  Half of the remaining time is for filming; the other half is for post production.  After our original cut, we'll probably put in some time fixing the sound as  much as possible over the summer, and finally submitting to Sundance by August.  Stay tuned!
