It Starts...

My name is Tom Kochem, and I'm one of the two writers/producers/directors/editors of our movie, Yellow Lights.  The other is Kevin Tostado.  We're both seniors at Olin College in Needham, Massachusetts.  You probably haven't heard of Olin - that's because we're a brand new school!  Kevin and I are members of the first class.

Yellow Lights is an original feature length digital video motion picture. I would describe it as Good Will Hunting meets Garden State meets Sideways. We're in production now, and we'll be wrapping filming in March - we need a lot of help, though, specifically with extras!  Our goal is to submit it to the film to 2007 Sundance Film Festival. This is a great chance to be in a real movie, so if you have any interest, or would just like to see what it's like to me on a movie set, please contact us.

Now that our website is up and running, we hope that you'll check in frequently for blog entries and production stills! In addition to myself and Kevin, the cast and crew have accounts for writing and posting photos on the site, to chronicle our film production process.
